Farthingstone Hotel & Golf Club

“Very friendly hotel and golf facility. On arrival watched the seniors warming up on the putting green, chipping green and practice nets-never seen some many keen elder statesman. After good coffee and bacon rolls we ventured to the course -1st hole carry a stream we then realised there was plenty of water, trees and just a few bunkers. Considering the deluge of rain we had the previous day the greens were in excellent condition. Overall a course that can ruin any round on most holes, but remember take the 16th on fortune sometimes favours the brave.Will wait to play on a sunny summer day then off to the cosy 19^th”.

“Thorley Park 'Herts Whitehalls Golf Club A very challenging course has aged well. If you are driving well you can stay out of trouble. But there again plenty of opportunities to par and birdie that’s the challenge of this course right up to the 17th hole - a birdie or a nightmare that’s the only way it can be described. All the staff were extremely helpful and a good day was had by all. If nearby –recommended”.
